Monumental sculptures

Baleak Wireframe

Inspired by the caudal fin of a humpback whale raised vertically to the surface of the oceans during an event called “breaching”, i.e. the moment when the whale propels itself entirely or partially out of the water.

We could call her “anadyomene” (from the ancient Greek: “rising upwards”, “out of the waters”) like Boticelli’s Venus.

The Baleak Wireframe sculpture is a faceted metal mesh. The inside of the mesh is empty.

The number of facets can vary according to the size of the mesh. The resulting appearance can range from the highly realistic to the abstract.

Materials considered : Corten steel, Art bronze, polished or brushed stainless steel, powder-coated steel, aluminum.

Bronze is a timeless work of art. These are veritable sculptures that stand the test of time and develop a patina over time. The change in standing is noticeable for both the specifier and the public.

With stainless steel, Corten steel or lacquered steel, the contemporary touch is noticeable. These monumental sculptures can be integrated into ultra-modern architectural projects.

Breaching” can have several meanings communication, territorial claims, pest elimination, hunting aid or observation of the surface.

Whales are majestic creatures that capture our imagination with their immense size and incredible acrobatic displays. This show is always impressive for observers.
